For some people1 planning a trip is almost as exciting as doing it; sitting down with books on exotic locations and picking where you want to go is a thrill, but when you first look all the places you can visit, it can be pretty overwhelming. This section of my website collects some of the more interesting places I've visited and presents them as suggested itineraries.
The following journeys aren't intended to be all-singing, all-dancing tours, but simply indications as to what's possible. They generally follow the routes I took myself, so at least someone has done them already, but it's best to allow yourself as much time as possible so you can add in your own dream destinations. After all, that's the whole point!
